CSR

We are firmly committed to being a socially and environmentally responsible business and take our obligations to the wider world seriously.

Our corporate responsibility programme falls into three key areas - engagement with the local community, charity support and managing our impact on the environment.

Community action

All members of the firm are encouraged to participate in local projects. We work with schools in a number of London boroughs to provide pupils with interview training and tuition.

A number of lawyers volunteer their time as advisers to The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS).

Charities

We actively support a number of charities and enjoy particularly close links with two charities working in the local community: Richard House Children's Hospice, a purpose built children's hospice in east London and Contact the Elderly, a charity working with older people who live alone and have limited contact with the outside world. Our support of charities is not limited to financial donations and we take part in a number of projects that our chosen charities have developed.

Environment

We take every step to minimise our use of energy and resources. A full recycling programme is in place, with recycling stations positioned throughout the building. Other measures we take include using recycled materials where possible, using sustainable products in our kitchens and ensuring energy consumption is limited through energy efficient appliances and systems. Our initiatives in this area are kept under constant review.
