About
Katherine heads the firm’s specialist Dispute Resolution Unit where she advises on all aspects of pensions litigation. This includes High Court claims, the Pensions Regulator, the Pensions and the PPF Ombudsman.
She has 25 years litigation experience and has acted in a wide range of high profile cases. In the recent past, Katherine led the highly successful complaint to OPRA on behalf of the Sea-land members, which resulted in Maersk paying members’ benefits in full. Also, Katherine represented Capital Cranfield in its successful claim against Pinsents, the law firm. More recently, Katherine has been working on a significant equalisation case for the Trustees of the Sea Containers Scheme and is also leading a group action in the VAT tribunal.
She has also been involved in numerous investment related disputes involving investment managers, administrators and securities related issues.
