David advises trustees and employers on a broad range of issues in relation to their defined benefit and defined contribution occupational pension schemes.
He has particular expertise in relation to: changes to scheme benefits; CARE Schemes; scheme mergers; section 75; funding negotiations; contingent assets; scheme wind-ups and de-risking solutions such as buy-outs and buy-ins.
David has a long-standing interest in auto-enrolment, is a member of the Sackers auto-enrolment team and speaks and provides press comment regularly on the subject. David has also taken part in the government consultations on the introduction of auto-enrolment.
David is a member of the Sackers Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and arranges a number of fundraising events for the firm's chosen charities.
