Sackers awarded MPF Exceptional Achievement Award

Sacker & Partners LLP, the UK’s leading pensions law firm, has been awarded the Managing Partners’ Forum (MPF) European Practice Management award for exceptional achievement at its awards ceremony last night.

At the highly regarded awards, Sackers was credited for ‘dominating their field’, ‘competing head on with the big battalions’, and having a ‘stellar’ client list.  Sackers was also praised for its flexible working policies and for having the highest proportion of female partners in the City. The firm has a turnover that has grown fivefold in the last 10 years.

The MPF European Practice Management Awards is the only competition to focus on the contribution of different disciplines to managing a professional firm.  The awards were first introduced by the MPF in 2002 to showcase the contribution of different disciplines, including law, marketing, HR, technology, finance and facilities.  This is the first time that a law firm outside of the Magic Circle has won the award.

Ian Pittaway, Senior Partner, Sacker & Partners LLP, said: “We are honoured to have been selected for this year’s award for exceptional achievement. Our team of dedicated individuals have worked exceptionally hard to position Sackers as a leading specialist in the pensions world, and for Sackers to be acknowledged alongside such big names for this highly regarded set of awards is a very proud moment for us”.

The winners were announced at a ceremony last night at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London. The event was hosted by John Humphrys, journalist and host of the Today programme on Radio 4.

Judging is the responsibility of a panel of senior management consultants and experts based in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.
