Peter Docking

Peter has extensive experience of the full range of pensions law advice, with particular experience of pensions related trust law issues and pensions dispute resolution. He advises trustees regarding proposed future benefits and duty of care matters.

As a member of Sacker & Partners International Pensions Team, Peter has particular interest in international pensions law and the harmonisation of pensions benefits within the European Union. He is responsible for managing the firm's membership with ius laboris, the highly regarded international alliance of independent law firms providing specialist services in employment, pensions and employee benefits. He is the UK representative member of the International Pensions and Employee Benefits Law Association and a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers International Committee.

He is a former Chairman of the Education and Seminars Sub-Committee of the Association of Pension Lawyers and writes and lectures regularly on pensions topics.
