Fuat Sami

Fuat has experience advising on a range of legal issues affecting pensions.  

He has advised trustees, employers and financial institutions on the pensions aspects of a variety of M&A transactions, IPOs, refinancings and corporate restructurings, a number of which have involved engaging with and/or obtaining clearance from the Pensions Regulator. He also has experience of advising on public sector outsourcings (in particular in relation to the admission and participation of employers in the Local Government Pension Scheme).

Fuat seeks to keep clients abreast of legislative and regulatory changes in the pensions world generally and has undertaken a number of specific projects updating scheme documentation. He also has experience advising in relation to scheme mergers and the implementation of changes to scheme benefit structures.
