Stuart O'Brien

Stuart has gained experience of a broad range of pension related matters and has particular experience advising on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions.  He regularly advises employers and trustees on Regulator clearance issues, employment cessation events, section 75 debts, withdrawal arrangements and apportionments and has extensive experience on the demerger of schemes as a result of corporate transactions. He also assists a number of clients with investment issues and contingent assets.

Stuart is also a member of several of the firm’s client teams advising the firm’s larger pension scheme clients on general day-to-day issues. He is a member of Sacker & Partners' Schemes in Transition Unit, Investment Unit and Services to Law Firms Unit.
