Chambers UK 2018 – Sackers maintains Band 1 status for pensions and pensions litigation
Sackers has retained its elite Band 1 status in the latest Chambers UK legal directory for both pensions and pensions litigation.
Chambers UK 2018 describes Sackers as “a distinguished pensions boutique with a broad array of experience in defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. Offers expertise from a tax and finance perspective, and has strong litigation capabilities.”
Eight Sackers partners have been ranked in this year’s edition for pensions: Ian Pittaway, Mark Greenlees, Edward Hayes, Pauline Sibbit, David Saunders, Janet Brown, Paul Phillips and Philippa Connaughton.
Two partners have been ranked in the category for pensions litigation: Katherine Dandy and Peter Murphy. Associate directors Arshad Khan and James Bingham have also been ranked.
Ian Pittaway, senior partner, Sackers, commented: “Achieving this Band 1 status is always an honour and to once again secure the accolade is a great acknowledgement of all the hard work we do here at Sackers. We are very proud of the quality of our work, so it is especially pleasing to receive this recognition that we remain firmly in the top tier when it comes to pensions legal advice.
“It is also fantastic to see so many individual members of our team recognised and ranked so highly, as it is thanks to them that we are able to continuously deliver such exceptional service to all our clients across a wide range of pensions issues.”
