Ian Pittaway comments on ESG in L&G master trust default for Pensions Expert
Senior partner, Ian Pittaway, comments on the decision of the Legal & General to switch its default investment strategy to take account of environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks, following research that showed 60% of it’s members favour the approach.
“There is no doubt that ESG is playing an increasingly important role within the pensions world. At one annual members’ meeting held by a large pension scheme I attended recently, nearly all of the questions from members concerned this topic.
