Mark is a consultant, working within the firm’s Know-how team, having retired from being a partner at the end of 2019.
Mark has significant experience of all aspects of pensions law developed over 40 years of practice. His clients included the trustee boards of several large and high profile schemes in the financial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and utility sectors.
Mark has been involved in some of the most innovative transactions of recent years including the transfer of over £28.5bn of assets from the Royal Mail Pension Plan to the UK government.
Mark was the Chairman of the Association of Pension Lawyers from 1997 to 1999 and is a former Chairman of its Legislative and Parliamentary Sub Committee. He also served on the Council of the Society of Pension Consultants and is a past Chairman of its Legislation Committee.
