Sackers celebrates second anniversary of The Pension Chapter

The Pension Chapter, a strategic network for female professionals in the pension industry, marked its second anniversary this morning at its ninth breakfast roundtable. The topic under discussion was “Medical Barriers & Breakthroughs: How Health Innovation Shapes the Future of Pensions”. It was a timely and thought provoking discussion which explored the fast-evolving world of health innovation and the barriers and breakthroughs shaping health and longevity outcomes across society.

Over the past two years, the network has hosted a variety of events addressing key issues shaping the future of UK pensions. Topics have included governance, artificial intelligence, board diversity, bridging the pension gender gap and more.

The Pension Chapter is part of the Female Forum, a social impact network for professional women across various industries, founded by Nora Stolz in 2022. Nora was motivated to create a space for professional women to connect and collaborate as well as work towards UN SDG 5 Gender Equality and UN SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals. So far, the Forum has brought together over 220 women and partnered with more than 50 organisations. Sackers has supported the Pension Chapter since its launch in 2023, along with LCP, Janus Henderson and Rothesay.

Partner Eleanor Daplyn said: “Creating spaces where women in pensions can thrive and build connections is important to us at Sackers, and we’re proud to have helped bring important issues, such as pensions scams and the pensions pay gap, to the forefront of industry discussions through our partnership with the Pension Chapter.”
