Sackers supports new pension industry network to help female leaders connect and collaborate

The Female Forum, a network for professional women, today launched its first industry-specific initiative “Pension Chapter” at a breakfast event in London. The Pension Chapter aims to create a strategic network for female professionals within the pensions industry. It will involve quarterly thematic industry roundtable events, providing a unique opportunity for female leaders in the pensions industry to discuss topical issues in an intimate and collaborative environment.

Sackers is a corporate partner to the Pension Chapter, along with LCP and Janus Henderson Investors.

The first event was held today at LCP’s offices and the topic was “Good governance and the importance of diversity of thoughts.” The session focused on how to leverage your individual position to spark conversations of change in the boardroom.

Eleanor Daplyn, partner, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Female Forum as a corporate partner. Sackers is a diverse and inclusive firm, but we recognise that not all firms have the same mindset and that there is much more that we can do as an industry to drive positive change. We look forward to working with The Female Forum as part of that process.”
