Pensions UK blog on investing in social and community growth
On 15 July 2026, Pensions UK published a blog on investing in social and community growth opportunities for pension schemes. Part of a series building on its recent report on investment in UK growth assets, the blog looks at the barriers to these investments and factors that schemes may wish to consider when approaching this area.
Publications on auto-enrolment
The Institute for Fiscal Studies has published a report on auto-enrolment, documenting trends in employer contributions to private pensions over time and how patterns of savings differ between different types of employees and employers. It also considers potential different approaches to increasing minimum contributions to improve retirement income adequacy.
The PPI has also published the final report in its Payslip to Pension series, exploring how low earners are affected by UK pensions policy. This report summarises findings of the previous publications and explores how auto-enrolment might be reformed.
