I advise trustees and employers on a wide range of issues relating to hybrid pension schemes, supporting both day‑to‑day scheme management and project‑based work. I work closely with trustees to provide clear, practical advice on governance, member queries and the interpretation of scheme documentation and legislation.

My experience includes advising on a variety of projects and strategic matters, including scheme restructures, benefit changes, and transfers. This includes advising a DB scheme closed to new members but still open to accrual for a limited group, which subsequently transferred into a DB master trust, and a scheme with both DB and DC sections and an open DC arrangement, where I supported advice in the context of its ongoing governance and structure.

I also have experience advising on scheme documentation updates, governance matters, and regularly support trustees in dealing with member queries, complaints, and ongoing regulatory developments.
