Sackers comments on TPR’s updated administration guidance
TPR’s revised administration guidance published this morning is aimed at helping trustees and administrators deliver “high-quality services that safeguard member benefits and build trust in the pensions system”.
Delivered at what TPR describes as a “pivotal moment” for the pensions industry, Kirsty Pake, partner, comments: “The guidance describes what good admin looks like; giving trustees the tools to engage with their administrators as key strategic partners. In a world of evolving expectations and developments, scheme administration remains the bedrock of a well-run pension scheme. Increasingly recognised as a critical foundation for delivering good saver outcomes, given the many changes in the Pension Schemes Bill and other changes recently announced by the Government, TPR’s guidance is very well timed.”
