Webinar budget special: a turning point for lifetime savings?

Tuesday 19 April 2016

If you can’t attend our Budget seminar in person or can’t afford time out of the office, sign up for our lunchtime webinar. The webinar will last 45 minutes and will include time for you to send in your questions to be answered by our experts.

While the Chancellor’s Budget on 16 March did not reveal a radical reform of pensions tax relief, the introduction of a new lifetime ISA (“LISA”) could mark a turning point in how individuals save during their working life. Having had time for the dust to settle on George Osborne’s latest pronouncements, this session will focus on what the proposals might mean in practice for the future of retirement and lifetime savings more broadly.

What you can expect from the webinar

Amongst other things, we will consider:

  • how the changes fit in with the current tax system?
  • who will be able to take advantage of LISAs?
  • what other changes are on the cards?
  • what key steps should employers and trustees be taking to prepare for the changes?
  • what options might be available to employers and pension savers alike in providing for future retirement savings?
  • what can be done to improve member engagement and what to watch out for?

All this and you don’t even need to leave your desk. Click here to register and you will receive further joining instructions.

By attending this event you can claim 0.75 hours under the PMI CPD scheme.
