About

Sarah advises trustees and employers on a wide range of pensions issues.  Her clients include schemes of various sizes operating in a number of industry sectors (including the financial, infrastructure, oil and gas, food and services sectors).  Sarah works regularly with DB, DC and cash balance scheme structures.

Sarah’s recent work includes advising employer and trustee clients on:

  • employer benefit change proposals, including proposals to close to future benefit accrual
  • a range of “day-to-day” issues including interpretation of scheme rules, member communications, data protection compliance, compliance with pensions legislation and handling member queries and complaints
  • pension risk transfers
  • bulk transfers/mergers
  • managing section 75 debt issues and apportioning pension liabilities
  • PPF guarantees and certification requirements
  • managing pension liberation risks and transfers out
  • scheme documentation updates and consolidations.
