Getting CDC right: Jacqui Reid speaks at Pensions UK Conference

At the Pensions UK Annual Conference, Jacqui Reid highlighted that stakeholder alignment will be critical to the success of CDC, with trustees, employers and providers needing to understand and accept the trade-offs between the flexibility and simplicity of traditional DC and the potential for better member outcomes under CDC.

She also explored the practical challenges around scheme design, administration and governance, while noting growing momentum in the market, with Sackers already advising a number of organisations on CDC and new schemes expected to come online over the next 12 months.
