Seminar: Making the most of Trustee Protections

Tuesday 17 May 2016

The Pensions & Investment Litigation (PIL) team will present a round table session focusing on the various protections that are available to Trustees and how these can be used in the context of member complaints and more general litigation.

The session will use case studies to bring to life the circumstances in which Trustee Protections can be used. The case studies will be used to encourage discussion and share experiences of the use of protections such as exoneration clauses, indemnity provisions and indemnity insurance in the context of member disputes.

This issue is relevant to all schemes – whether DB, DC, closed or open and even those schemes which have bought-out their benefits so we hope that there will be something for everyone on the day.

As is our usual practice we will be offering the session on two separate days – one early morning and one lunchtime slot – so we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for a lively and informative discussion.

When registering please select which session you would like to attend:

Tuesday 17 May (12.30pm) or Thursday 19 May (9.00am).

By attending this event you can claim 1.5 hours CPD under the PMI CPD scheme.
