Increasing regulation of pension fund investments means increasing governance and compliance requirements for schemes. The days of ‘off the shelf’ policies and box-ticking are gone.
In this session, aimed at pension scheme trustees and managers, our finance and investment experts will look at what investment practices and policies DB and DC schemes must have in place, and what they need to cover, including:
- statement of investment principles (SIPs)
- implementation statements
- stewardship policy
- setting “strategic objectives” (CMA compliance).
We will also look at what further requirements are coming down the track, with practical tips on how to prepare and traps to avoid.
